AI Capability Standard · Part one · Evidence check

What could your organisation show today?

The twenty requirements in part one of the AI Capability Standard, stage by stage. Tick a requirement only if you could show the proof if asked. What is left unticked is your list of gaps, with the document that helps close each one.

The evidence test. A requirement is met when the organisation could show the proof: the document, the record, the number, the worked example. Anything that could not be shown is not met, whatever anyone believes about it. Do this together with the people who would have to produce the evidence.

This checks the requirements of part one. How far each element has developed is scored separately, with the Contour guide, and the people side is assessed against part two. A check is a position at a date: save or print it, and run it again at your next review to compare. Nothing you enter here is sent or saved anywhere. Read the standard in full.
This check reports gaps. It does not certify, approve or assure anything, and no one may claim it does. A result here is a self-assessment. It does not establish legal compliance, that your use of AI is safe or suitable, or that anything is ready to deploy. Provided free and as is, for general information, and not advice.
